During the course Graphics we had to make a 3D animated film using the 3D computer graphics software called Blender. Together with Marijn Romeijn I created the short animation film called BanaRun. The film is about a banana which is put to the challenge to be with his true love.

Created with Blender 2.65, rendered with cycles on a nVidia GTX 580 in 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution. The number of samples were set to 30 to keep the render times down and some noise was removed in post. It took around 2.5 minute to render each frame, which resulted in a total render time of 4 days and had to be done all over again for the 3D version.
